Natural Pre-Workout That Actually Works – Boost Energy Without the Crash

Do you know why pre-workout is necessary? Pre-workout is essential for getting the most out of your workout and achieving the best results in your fitness journey. But do you know which pre-workout is the best? Natural pre-workout or commercial pre-workout? If I personally had to suggest, I would recommend the natural pre-workout. But why is natural pre-workout the better option, even though we have easier solutions like supplement powders?

Hey, this is Rakib Hussain, a fitness trainer on the internet. Today I’m going to explain an important topic about natural pre-workouts — what I actually take before a workout and how they give me energy. Everything I’m going to explain here is from my experience. I hope this really helps you improve your fitness journey.

Why Natural Pre-Workout Is Best for Health

Natural pre-workouts contain only natural substances. They not only boost your energy during workouts but also provide other nutrients your body needs. On the other hand, commercial pre-workouts only give you energy for a limited time — just during the workout. Natural pre-workouts provide protein, carbohydrates, essential fats, amino acids, vitamins, and all the essential nutrients depending on your pre-workout meal type. And these natural pre-workouts do not have any side effects. But commercial pre-workout powders can be harmful in some cases. From every perspective, natural pre-workout is better for your health.

What Can I Choose for a Natural Pre-Workout?

Here I will suggest some of the best natural pre-workouts that I always take before my workout. These are high in energy and help you to work out for a long time. I have enjoyed the benefits of taking these natural pre-workouts and want to share the list with you too. Here are your best natural pre-workout options:

  1. Black Coffee

Black coffee has a magical power that helps gym-goers boost energy. You won’t believe how effective black coffee is until you try it. Just try one workout with black coffee and share your experience. But black coffee alone isn’t enough. Your pre-workout should include multiple items for the best result. Why is coffee a great option? Black coffee contains water, caffeine, a small amount of vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants. It also contains other nutrients, but they are in small amounts, so I’m not listing them all here.
  2. Peanuts Are a Great Natural Pre-Workout

Peanuts are another favorite item on my food list that I always eat. They give me instant high energy for workouts. For me, they work better than commercial pre-workout supplements, and I believe they’ll work for you too. Peanuts provide both energy and protein. They contain protein, fiber, essential fats, vitamins, and minerals. If you eat 100 grams of peanuts daily, you’ll get around 25 grams of pure natural protein without any side effects. Every natural pre-workout provides various nutrients, but commercial supplements just provide one thing: energy. So we should avoid them. I’m not saying they’re harmful, I’m saying they’re not the best option. Eat peanuts before a workout and boost your energy fast — then tell me how long you were able to work out!
  3. Banana Is Another Great Pre-Workout

Banana is one of my favorites and I eat it almost every day. It contains potassium, fiber, carbohydrates, and various vitamins. Especially the carbohydrates provide high energy. Carbohydrates are the only source of energy for our body, and we get them from various foods. Moreover, bananas support muscle growth. Four bananas a day are enough for one person.
  4. Eggs

Eggs are the best option for fueling and boosting energy. They contain protein, fat, and water. You can eat two boiled eggs before your workout to get a great energy boost. You can also take them with bread or roti for added carbohydrates. Eggs contain various vitamins and I recommend eating them on workout days to support energy and muscle growth. Eggs are a powerful source of protein for muscle building and recovery.
  5. Nut Butter and Bread

Butter and bread are also a great choice for pre-workout — it’s a high-energy meal. Though it doesn’t contain protein, it has carbohydrates, fat, and fiber. It’s delicious, healthy, and also supports muscle growth. Butter gives instant energy and can be a good alternative to peanuts.
  6. Oatmeal and Peanut Butter

These two are also great options for pre-workout. Oats and peanut butter give you carbohydrates, minerals, and vitamins. They provide energy and boost your strength, helping you work out for longer. This is a fully natural, healthy, and delicious pre-workout meal.
  7. A Smoothie Could Be the Best Natural Pre-Workout

A smoothie is a high-energy, natural, and very healthy option. You can make it with all-natural and nutritious items. For example, add nuts, honey, dates, milk, raisins, bananas, etc. A smoothie can also support muscle growth.

When to Take a Pre-Workout Before Starting a Workout?

You should take your pre-workout meal 30 to 60 minutes before starting your workout. This is the best timing. Do not start your workout immediately after eating. It will reduce your strength and may cause digestive issues. Wait for your food to digest properly — only then will you get the actual energy.

Can I Take a Commercial Pre-Workout Supplement?

Yes, you can take a pre-workout supplement if you want. There’s no problem with using them. But make sure to focus on the brand when choosing the best one. If I were to suggest the best supplement, I’d recommend DAS Labs Pre-Workout, which is great overall. We already wrote a full article about DAS Labs Pre-Workout where I explained everything in detail. DAS Labs Pre-Workout comes in different types and flavors and is produced and tested in the United States. So I personally recommend it if you’re looking for a supplement. DAS Labs Pre-Workout is the best one. Otherwise, there’s no harm in taking a pre-workout supplement.
